Hosted by: Comar LLC (formerly ProPlas Technologies) in Garden Grove, CA
Presented by: Suhas Kulkarni, founder and president of Fimmtech
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Design of Experiments (DOE) is a manufacturing technique that is used to optimize a manufacturing process. This valuable technique should also be used as part of the process development protocol but is seldom done so because of misconceptions of the time and effort it takes. Common complaints are 'It takes a lot of time to perform the runs' and 'We waste a lot of time (and therefore money) measuring parts'. The workshop will provide an introduction to the technique and simple steps to perform DOEs in Injection Molding.
